Q: How would you describe your style of photography?

My work is very aesthetically engaging. It’s very modern, very edgy, it’s very ‘hey he’s Pat Furey, he takes great pictures and we trust him.’ My style becomes a very personal thing and I get a lot of love because I’m not just a photographer, I’m an artist.

Q: When you’re at a wedding, what kinds of things do you look for?

Light. Emotion. Details. Composition.

Q: What do you expect from your couples?

I don’t expect anything. Instead, I work to gain trust. Trust is what allows me to capture the images that I do. Trust, style, and creativity are very important to me and these attributes are equally as important to the couples I collaborate with. I’m really blessed by those who choose to have me at their wedding.

Q: Are you available to travel?

I’m available to travel internationally (for a fee, of course). Travel to most of New Jersey, Philadelphia, and New York City is included in your investment.

Q: What kind of albums do you provide?

I provide flush-mount albums exclusively. You have the option of picking your cover: modern photo-canvas or a contemporary leather. My albums are pretty epic and I love showing them off.

Q: Do you shoot digital or film?

All digital. I’m rocking a Canon 5D MkII, Canon 5D, and bunch of really high-quality Canon lenses. My current favorite is the 35L, that lens is breathtaking.

Q: Can we customize our wedding investment?

You’re welcome to swap anything your heart desires. If the products you wish to substitute aren’t of equal value, just add the difference to your investment.

Q: What is your turn around time like for our images? What about the album?

if your wedding is on a weekend, i usually have a blog post up later in the week to hold you over. expect it to take 2-3 weeks from the date of your wedding before your proofing/ordering gallery goes live. a month after your wedding, I’ll send you an album pre-design in which you’re allowed to make one round of revisions on. if you love what i’ve designed for you, i’ll send it to print and you’ll have it in 2 months from the date of your wedding. if you need to make revisions doing so in a timely fashion is key. once i get your revision ideas, expect it to take up to 2 weeks to redesign the album. after the redesign, I’ll send it to get printed. if you need to make revisions to your album, you’ll typically have it 3 months after your wedding (if you don’t drag your feet).:)

Q: Do you bring backup equipment to weddings?

I wouldn’t feel right making images at your wedding unless I had duplicates of all my camera equipment. At the end of the night, all of your images are immediately backed up to at least three locations before I head to bed.

Q: We think you’re awesome and we’d love to have you shoot our wedding, what’s next?

All I need to book your date is a signed contract and a 50% retainer. Once that’s done, it’s all legit.
