How would you describe your style of photography?
Real photojournalism with exceptional portraits thrown in the mix.
When you’re at a wedding, what kinds of things do you look for?
Light, movement, laughter, and composition. I do my best to make people feel at ease and let the day unfold naturally. That said, I’ll be sure to leave my mark somehow (most likely with a bad joke).
What inspires you as an artist?
I love to stir the pot a little so things don’t burn. Keeping my own work fresh by drawing inspiration from various sources is super important to me. The amount of work my clients put into their weddings is no joke and I’m always blown away by how much love and creativity I get to witness on a regular basis. I’m a minimalist at heart and believe simple is always better.
What do you expect from your couples?
I don’t expect anything but I’ll absolutely work to gain your trust. Trust is huge. Trust is what allows you to feel at ease with me, letting me into your life and allowing me to translate that into a series of images.
Are you available to travel?
Absolutely. The passport is up to date and I’m not afraid to use it. If traveling outside of PA/NY/NJ a flight and hotel are usually required. don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’ll figure out the details.
what are your rates?
wedding collections from $3,900 and portrait sessions from $700. please contact me for full investment information.
What is your turn around time like for our images? What about the album?
I don’t blog every wedding, but if I do, it’l be within 2 weeks. In the next week, I’ll email you a link to your online gallery. The album design is a creative collaboration and depends heavily on what images we come to include. Once sent to print, you’ll have the album at your door step within 2-3 weeks.
speaking of turn around, how many images will we get?
it greatly depends on how long we’re together, but for my weddings I typically turn around 600-800 fully edited images. engagement shoots are typically in the 100-125 range.
What type of gear do you use?
Two eyes, a pair of warby parker glasses, and a few different types of cameras.
Do you bring backup equipment to weddings?
I wouldn’t feel right making images at your wedding unless I had duplicates of all my camera equipment. At the end of the night, I back up everything before I get some sleep.
We think you’re awesome and we’d love to have you shoot our wedding, what’s next?
All I need is a signed contract and retainer. Once that’s done, you’re in.
