maija and scott are the shit.
scott knows everything, literally. he’d put the snapple-cap makers out of business with his random fact inspired genius. maija went to school up in hartford and that’s where scott popped the question, so we thought it would be fun to go on a road trip to the spot they were engaged. long story short? we ended up hiking up a mountain, running through a forest, visiting hartford, and lurking around a dinosaur statue at yale. we also visited an old cathedral, ate at louis’ lunch (where the hamburger was first invented), and ran around on an empty tank for longer then we should have. being in the same car with a couple for 6 hours is quite the bonding experience.
after waiting about an hour (literally) to get our food, maija was pretty stoked to finally get to eat!
and how can I quite possibly forget the coolest kid in all of hartford…
I think maija put it best when she said “at least you weren’t stuck in a car for 6 hours with crazy people!” i had a blast. i’m really looking forward to the wedding!
