amy and sanjay | wedding | stage 6 NYC

a few posts ago you saw amy and sanjay‘s awesome DUMBO and SoHo eShoot.  this post’s all about the wedding day and trust me: it was absolutely beautiful.  this couple just oozes style, sanjay rocked a REAL bowtie (so rad) and amy was just glowing all day.

my goal for this wedding was to try and shoot as photojournalistically as possible, as i just stayed back and allowed the day to unfold naturally.

the festivities were held in NYC at steiner studios stage 6, a movie lot that just so happened to have a gorgeous venue available for weddings!  nestled deep within brooklyn’s historic navy yard with the breathtaking brooklyn bridge draped behind the full glass reception windows, it was absolutely amazing!  a big thank you goes out to ryan flynn for having me. :)

river city extension

i’ve watched this band grow from a three person band to a now six person destrustive force of musical nature.  I’ve seen ‘em play in basements, attics, houses, boardwalks – you name it.  when joe told me they’d be playing in front of thousands of people at Baltimore’s Artscape, I was estatic.  please do yourself a favor and listen to river city extension.:)  so rad.
