rachael and matt are some of the most genuine, caring, and compassionate people I know.  together as a couple they bring out the perfect blend of personality, quirkiness, laughter, and joy in each other’s lives.  it was apparent the moment I met them.

you’d imagine my surprise when they showed up to our engagement shoot with a few undercover cops trailing right behind them.  as the do-rag donning police officer questioned the alarmed couple, I stood a cars length in front wondering what the hell was going on.  apparently matt’s obnoxiously-dark tinted windows in combination with a brief turn is grounds for suspicion.  since no one got any tickets, we were making jokes about it all day.

I almost fell through rotting wood for that one, it was completely worth it.
