Bohemian Destination Wedding / Florence Italy Wedding Photography

James and Alyssa were married amongst the olive trees on a hilltop just outside of Florence in Italy.

Originally planned as an elopement with just the four of us, when some of James and Alyssa’s closest friends heard about the wedding plans they jumped at the opportunity to celebrate with them in Italy. Alyssa cooked everyone breakfast on her own wedding day, followed by her and James getting ready together the morning of their wedding. Exploration around the ancient city of Florence followed, transitioning into an intimate ceremony nestled amongst the olive trees ending with an al fresco dinner at their villa overlooking the city. Lots of wine, the best food (mostly carbs – not mad), and great conversation naturally flowed amongst close friends as the sunset over the hills.

It was an honor to be apart of it all.

There’s a reason we’re photographers and not authors – words fail me often – but getting to spend a week traveling in Italy to document James and Alyssa’s wedding in Florence was one of the highlights of our career so far. This entire trip was really special and we couldn’t have had a better time if we tried. Thank you.
