Minimalist Inspired Brooklyn Engagement

What gets me most excited about what we do is creating images for couples that resonates well past the ‘wedding’ genre. I’ve been drawn to minimalism more-so than ever lately – yet we’ve always tried to put a minimalist spin on editorially charged wedding images that don’t necessarily look like they’re related to weddings. I think it’s great to incorporate other elements of inspiration whenever we’re out shooting for our couples.

When Demetra and Pete rolled up for their engagement shoot in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, I was immediately drawn to how comfortable they were together and how seamlessly they blended into the minimalist vision I had in mind for them leading up to our session together. Here are a small handful of the images we created on a cold afternoon exploring Brooklyn together.
