Wes Anderson Inspired Wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate

Meghan and Patrick’s Wes Anderson inspired wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate was easily one of the most creative, eye opening weekends of fun and celebration that we’ve ever been apart of. The weekend was filled with zip-lining through lush trees, conquering the ever-so-mighty blob, canoeing, swimming, chowing down on delicious and locally sourced farm-to-table food, and most importantly, celebrating the love that brought these two creatives from San Francisco to upstate New York to get married.

After two long but amazing days running around (and canoeing) ourselves, here are a few of my favorite images from our time together in the Hudson Valley. This wedding was absolutely perfect in every way and I hope that the energy we felt behind apart of this comes through in the images we made.

Many thanks to the super talented team involved in pulling this wedding together. Event planning by the lovely Kelly at SociaLife, event design by the incomparable team at Glitter and Rye, rentals by Rent Patina, and most imporantly moral support and second shooting by my favorite-human-ever Claire Hudson. #dreamteam

Waterwich Club Wedding — Backyard Wedding Photography

Who knew New Jersey had beautiful old homes on top of hills (overlooking Manhattan) with dirt roads leading everywhere your heart desires? I didn’t, but now I’m ruined forever. Some serious Hampton vibes going on in this one.

Rangefinder Magazine’s 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography

I am completely besides myself today… and just flat out excited to announce something I’ve had to keep secret for a few months…

I’ve been named one of the “30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography” by industry leading Rangefinder magazine. I’m also proud to announce that in addition to the title, I also have the honor of my work gracing the cover! You can read more in the digital version of the magazine or pick up the print version at your local newsstand if you’re interested in checking it out.

It’s really humbling to have the cover and it’s so great to also see some friends included in Rangefinder’s selection of insanely talented artists from all across the globe.

Thank you so much to all of my creative friends for pushing, inspiring, and nominating me. Thank you to my clients for the trust and willingness to push boundaries and allow me to be apart of such a monumental day. Most importantly, thank you to Claire. I’m eternally grateful for her own hard work and dedication in reaching our goals. I love you and I could not do this without you.

I’m newly energized to make even better work moving forward. Here’s to the future!
